We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of live performances, regardless of their abilities. Our spaces are highly accessible to individuals with a range of abilities, including those in wheelchairs, who are hearing impaired, and have limited mobility.
For our guests in wheelchairs, our venue has a ramp at the main entrance to ensure seamless access and is equipped with accessible restrooms. We provide accessible seating options with unobstructed views of the stage, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the show comfortably. Our spacious aisles and designated wheelchair areas guarantee ease of movement throughout the venue. Wheelchair seating along with space for a companion need to be booked over the phone or at the box office.
For guests who are hearing aid users, an induction loop is provided. To access, please switch your hearing aid to 'T.'
Parking
ASB Theatre Marlborough has two Pay by Plate Public Car Parks that are within its immediate vicinity.
Clubs of Marlborough (including Russell Terrace): $1.20 per hour, limited to 4 hours
Alfred Street Parking Building - Pay by Plate, $1.20 per hour or $4.80 per day
Monday to Friday: All parks - payment required 9.00 am - 5.00 pm; (free outside these hours)
Saturday: On street/kerbside - payment required 9.30 am - 1.00 pm, off street (including Alfred Street car park building) free all day.
Sunday and Public Holidays: Free
There are also onstreet free parking locations around the Theatre that have time restrictions.
